The cleric blessed you. Now you have to remember an extra d4 on every attack and every save for the next minute, and someone always forgets. Here’s how to stop forgetting.
The short answer: D&D Beyond doesn’t add Bless to your rolls for you. The spell lives on the caster’s sheet, not on yours, and your sheet has no switch for a temporary bonus die like Bless’s d4. Your options are to roll the d4 yourself and add it in your head, or to use a browser extension that adds it to D&D Beyond’s rolls.
Rollwarden is a free extension that puts a Bless toggle on every character sheet. Switch it on, and D&D Beyond’s own dice roll the extra d4 on every attack roll and saving throw, death saves included. The Game Log shows the total with Bless already in it. Switch it off when the spell ends.
Bless is a 1st-level cleric and paladin spell. The caster chooses up to three creatures, plus one more for each slot level above 1st. For as long as the caster keeps concentrating, up to one minute, each of those creatures adds 1d4 to its attack rolls and saving throws. The 2014 and 2024 rules agree on all of this.
A few consequences people get wrong at the table:
Death saving throws count. They’re saving throws, so a blessed character adds the d4 to them too.
Ability checks don’t. Skill checks, initiative and tool checks get nothing from Bless. That’s a different spell, Guidance.
Damage doesn’t either. The d4 goes on the attack roll, not the damage roll, so a critical hit doesn’t double it.
Two Blesses don’t stack. If two casters bless the same creature, it still adds one d4, because the same spell’s effects don’t combine.
It ends with concentration. If the caster takes damage and fails the Constitution save, Bless ends for everyone at once.

Beyond20 is a good choice if its main job for you is carrying rolls to Roll20 or Foundry. Rollwarden is built around changing the roll on the sheet itself. Bless is one of about 270 modifiers it can apply that way, and the result also reaches Discord, Roll20 and Foundry if you use them. The full comparison is on Rollwarden vs Beyond20.

The Active Modifiers panel appears on the sheet. Bless is in its Spells column on every character, whether or not that character can cast it, because the person who blesses you is usually someone else.
Click the Bless tile. From now on, every attack roll and saving throw you make on the sheet rolls an extra d4 alongside D&D Beyond’s dice. The roll breakdown lists it as its own line, so the table can see where the number came from.
Click the tile again when the minute is up or the caster loses concentration. If you cast Bless from your own sheet, Rollwarden’s Concentration tracker picks it up, and if your concentration breaks, the Bless toggle turns itself off.
Yes. Rollwarden’s Companion panel has its own modifier toggles, Bless included, so a blessed steed or summon rolls its d4 on its own attacks and saves.
Bane is Bless in reverse: the target subtracts 1d4 from attack rolls and saving throws. Rollwarden has a Bane tile for when an enemy casts it on you. It starts hidden; reveal it from the Spells column’s manager.
Yes. With Settings → Rolling → Roll physical dice on, clicking a roll asks you for the dice you rolled at the table. Bless’s d4 is on that list, so it’s hard to forget.
Yes. Bless is part of D&D Beyond’s roll, so wherever Rollwarden sends that roll, the total includes it and the breakdown names it. See sending rolls to Discord.
